CZ 25 shot magazine - Update see post 1

Tried my one and only 25 rd mag in my 457 American today. No workee. Lifter/follower is plastic and when compared to my 5 shot mags, I can see that the front of the 25 is not lifting the cartridge high enough. I'll take it to my go to man Deaner and let him fiddle with it. Not a major problem as I have plenty of 5 & 10 shot mags. Like a dumb a$$ I didn't think to bring a couple or three other mags, so I single loaded for the afternoon gopher shoot. Tricky with my big $hithooks and a scope mounted.

edit: Now it works! Took it to my shop and tried it again. Worked every time. Go figure.

My 25 shot clips feed ok. I like the 10 shot the best. Springs in 25 shots get stiff when they get close to full.

Mine was hit or miss, mostly miss. I think it worked in my Norinco 452 clone, but not in the 452 or BRNO 2E I tried it in. Sold it.

I think the polymer are the nicest to load/use by far. Wish I had more of those than the metal ones.

My 25 works well. Use a couple of 10s mostly. Keep one or two loaded while watching for gophers. I much like the poly ones over metal. Sold most of the metal ones.

Four of us took a road trip to Prairie Gun Traders today. I had spoken for a 457 Canadian .22 a while back. We bought guns, ammo, cleaning kit, bullets, primers. One of our group had a granddaughter and her husband meet us there. Hubby bought a bunch of stuff, rifles, ammo, scopes.

Could be. I tried several times, removing it, inserting it. However, It worked just fine back at my shop. I'll give it another whirl later, only this time I'll take a couple other mags with me!

I currently have 4 for my CZ herd. The latest one didn't feed well the first time I used it with my 455 but after running 20 rounds through it a couple of times it straightened out.
