I have a CZ 452 with a jugged chamber. i bought it new and had trouble with it right away. Spent rounds would not extract. The best groups i could get were 2" at 50 yards. Long story short i waited to long and now cz will not warranty it.
As a solution, one thought i had was to reline barrel to 17 M2.Is this feasible? And any suggestions as to a Gunsmith in the Saskatoon area that could do it?

Get a smith to drill out the chamber, make up prebored plug and sweat or solder/glass/epoxy it into place, then run a chamber reamer into the plug.

That's only if the bore looks OK and the smith has a lathe up to the job.

Simple and cheap.

A liner will be a toss up as to whether or nto it will prove to be accurate or ho hum.

It's been my experience with CZ rimfire barrels that they shoot very well.

Another option, is to fit a take off barrel from another 452 or one of its predecessors or new rifles.

Should be more than a few out there. With the present long range craze and people putting after market, custom, barrels onto their receivers

I have lined .22 barrels to 17 Mach II with great success.. super accurate. No worries about that. Redman liners are excellent and once again cheap as the expensive US export fee is no longer.

I no longer line barrels. I sold the 17 Mach II reamer.
