For those who have a CZ452 or 455 with iron sights, with the tangent rear model (sliding ramp 25-200 meters):

Is the rear notch adjustable for windage using the 2 screws at the sides of the notch, or is the only windage adjustment made by drifting the front blade in its dovetail?

I am trying to decide between the 455 Lux with the newer rear sight (like a Remington 700 BDL rear sight) or a 455 Lux II, which has the tangent sliding ramp rear sight like the old 452.

All help welcome.

I have the 452, and the rear sight adjusts for windage via 2 screws. From what I have read on RFC, most prefer the older 452 style rear sight over the newer 455 version. I had not heard of the Lux II before. Nice looking rifle.

Thanks,
Cal.

Both types of the CZ rear sight can be adjusted for windage without the need for drifting the front sight. All you need is a screwdriver, its straight forwards for both. I think the tangent (452 type) sights are far superior to what you get with the 455 Lux/512 rifle.

Windage adjustment on a 452 or 455 front sight? Really show me!

Not on any cz's that I own. (except the good old scout that I have a scope on "LOL")
The new 455 tangent sights are quite nice and easy to adjust especially the front.
