Well it isn't fastened just yet, needs a couple passes on the milling machine but I could have her in there in ten minutes or less. The cruel dission is to take this awesome BRNO number 1 stock and deface it for an american??

One action screw hole and some trigger inletting and it is a reality

but to deface the stock or not is the question

Dude, go for it. The american is a sweet shooting rifle, and a target stock will make it that much nicer. What kind of glass is that?

Its wearing a simmons pro air 6-18x40. thinking about more power though. Maybe my fixed 45 leupold for a day or two try shooting offhand with that much power

all fitted and Ive been shooting it at the range, all in all it is the sweetest stock. I'll have to get some pictures of the groups, although I have been shooting this one mainly free hand I will have to test it on the bags

Hey Dave...good to see you over here too. I sure do like that rig...as mentioned I bought a brand new unfired 1952 Brno Model #1 that came in one that was near identical...complete with OEM Brno peeps and accessories. Anyway, I know I posted this over on RFC in response to your thread, but thought I would post it here for the folks to see...

BTW, folks this thing is quite comfortable and much more versatile than one would think at first as well as functional...especially for those that want something that is more target oriented but still keeping much of it's sportability. To me it's definitely great for the money spent. Obviously, mine came as a complete package but I'm getting more tempted to buy another one now that I've seen Dave's handiwork. :t

New STD MATCH - SPORT stock for Brno Arms (Zbrojovka Brno) made .22LR rifle ZKM 451 (Model 1). The right handed, well balanced, intended for target shooting the stock is made from steam treated European beech wood, and feature steel rod internally reinforced grip, it is medium brown stain color and finished with durable polyurethane clear varnish. This stock feature vertical adjustable cheek piece, swivel adjustable butt plate arm sling rail and vent ribs. This stock accept all Model 1 standard hardware such as trigger guard, standard 5 and 10 Rd magazine,single shot adapter action screw and barrel tension screw. The stock is made for Model 1 action drop in, but it is newly made with tight precise tolerances which may require minor relief/touch to fit - like most replacement stocks. This stock was made in Czech Republic by former Brno Arms employees on the same equipment (some old and antiquated) that was used to made original stocks for Brno rifles.
