CZ 452 American with beech furnature ??

Just picked up a new 452 American yesterday and didn't notice the wood until i put it next to my 452fs, it beech wood! looking at the box label it says Australian on it, after doing some research seems like CZ made the American in beech for the Australian market. Anyone else have a 452 in beech wood?? Until now I had no idea the American came in beech, but its a looker that's for sure!

Very cool grain on that one thats for sure. Wolverine as well as frontier have the 452 listed in beech

Normally the Trainer or the Standard is beech and the American is walnut. I had never seen a American in beech? Has it got American stamped on it?

Yes it's stamped American

Mine is also Beech.
Originally described (not by the seller) as "quarter sawn", it did appear unique.

There appears to be a definite line below the cheek piece as if it was two different cuts and then laminated.

Not as hard as the Turkish Walnut.

I didn't know they made them with the two different woods.
Mine is a beech too.
I wasn't all that happy about it, but the dang thing shoots
so great that I forgave her.
That full wood posted up above is a great looker.....whooooooot.

I chose my 455 standard over the lux based on the beech wood stock. Grain was beautiful on the beech.....

Picked up a beech 452 American 22lr. in Jan. There's a few out there. Looking for a .22 WMR now.
