Just picked one up! looks real nice, now what rings do I get? Going to need for a 1in. tube scope! Thanks for your help.

Burris high Deluxe. They were the only ring I could find to clear the ocular of a Leupold. Congrats on your purchase.

I had one years ago and if you can find them BKL rings were the way to go.

Tried ordering through the guys WEB site, but never got a response and had to do a charge back on the CC.

Shame too, BKL IMHO were the best .22 ring going.

Warne 7.3 are nice too, the Burris ones have the inserts though which are useful. Leupold also makes a set but prefer the Warne.

No, I have a Meuler APV on mine. Its a 4.5 to 14 with AO. Pretty sharp optics for the money, and you can focus very close with it, if you want to target shoot indoors. I've clipped a little off the trigger spring, removed the machining marks from the bottom of the firing pin, and polished the receiver internals with rubbing compound to get an extremely smooth bolt action. I like this 22 because you get bull barrel accuracy out of a field weight rifle. That and it looks and feels like a quality rifle. But the wood on yours is extraordinary.

Picked up both scope, and rings off CGN , Leupold Vari-X II 4x12x44 AO, mounted it this morning, has very fine cross-hair reticle.
