So question out to all you cz owners and or krg bravo owners. I currently have a cz 452 heavy barrel in a mdt lss22... I would live to put it into a krg bravo chassis. However they don't make one. They do make one for a 457.

Question is... does anyone out there have a 452 and a 457 ? Wondering about getting some dimensions checked. I am happy to get the bravo milled to fit the 452 but want to confirm action specs and layout before I buy a chassis.

Any help is appreciated.

You probably know the following, but for the general reader it should be noted that the CZ 452 Varmint in .22LR has one action screw, located between the trigger and the magazine well. It has a barrel lug as well. The CZ 457 has two action screws and a recoil lug. The rear action screws is behind the trigger, the front is ahead of the magazine well.

Unfortunately I don't have any dimensions available. The images below should help illustrate the differences, which suggest that making a 457 chassis fit a 452 Varmint .22LR receiver would likely be a job for only the most determined.

Below is the CZ 452 Varmint .22LR receiver in profile. A photo of the Varmint stock showing the footprint is shown below. Images of the 457 receiver for comparison are also included.

Thank you. I see they are different enough eh? That's a shame. Thank you for all the effort in your response. I love my 452 Varmint. I also love my krg bravo. Maybe one day I will be able to borrow and test fit one from some one local... or I just take the dive and order a chassis. I have a machining pro buddy. Just want to find out if it is close first...

Again. Thank you.
