Apart from the shorter sight radius of a 16 inch barrel, please list all the DISadvantages.

16" barrels are awesome and one is in my future... but one other disadvantage is weight for balancing a PRS rig.

Ideally, in this setup your balance point should be a couple inches in front of the magwell and weight further out from this balance point allows you to have an overal lighter rifle than one with a shorter barrel.

That is not to say people are not shooting PRS with a shorter barrel and happy, but most folks are running a longer, heavier barrel, even though they are competing at 300y distances with a .22. The velocity loss and manouverability are generally seen as lower priority than positional stability.

The original purpose of the shorter barrel is to help accommodate a suppressor, which, while not legal in Canada, is allowed in some jurisdictions.

In addition to the question of balance, as gorby points out above, if a shooter who is using a rifle for PRS or bench shooting and wishes to use a barrel tuner, a 16" barrel is less responsive to the potential help that a tuner can offer. In short, a barrel that's too stiff because of its short length can't benefit from a tuner. In BR shooting, where barrel tuners are in common use, the rifle barrels are typically 24" - 26" long with diameters of about .850" - .920".

Meh...i find ALL barrel lengths are excellent. I like the 16-20" short barrels for dynamic shooting or a woods carry.
I have two 28" units ( 10/22 and cz457 Jaguar)....accoustically much quieter than 16-20". Jaguar open sight are fantastico. All are equally accurate. I love them all.

I have an old winchester with a long barrel and I love it. I've drooled over the CZ Jaguar every time I see one but I only seem to see them when I don't have the funds to buy one.

I have the 452 in lux model (only 24" barrel), and it balancesgreat and sights are nice at that length. One thing I've never done but should is see how well the rear sight yardage markers work/accurate they are.

I have an older one with a beautifully figured walnut stock. The yardage markers do work, very well

It's not? hmmm, flatter trajectory is not better? okay.

Only in situations where that matters, which basically means when you do not have the luxury of enough time to adjust your scope for the distance in question. Known distance and time to adjust makes how flat the trajectory is irrelevant. Supersonic 22 LR goes transonic and then subsonic in a fairly short distance. The jostling the bullet sees while traversing the transonic region has a negative effect. It adds to dispersion. This is why all serious 22 LR target ammo is subsonic, to avoid the troubled region altogether. No transition from supersonic to subsonic, no bullet jostling. The effect probably isn't going to be the end of the world in hunting situations, and you probably care more about terminal energy there, but it probably is going to hurt scores on paper in a meaningful way.
