The Farewell Edition stock has upgraded checkering and an ebony forend. In terms of dimensions it's the same as the 452 American stock. While the standard 452 American stocks is walnut, some were beech and these were originally destined for Australia. Some beech stock models were sold in Canada.

All this useful info was gleened by the ultimate keyboard warrior! ZZZzzz Have you actually owned any? I can send pics of mine,PS not birch and all the screws are oriented the same direction. It remains unfired.

Having owned two of them, I'm reasonably familiar with the Farewell Edition. Here's one of them. (And for goodness sake, please ignore me. As I've urged you in the past, please put me on ignore. If nothing else this might help limit some of the embarrassment you create for yourself.)

Oh now Glenn buddy! Thats funny, but seriously. As hard as Ive tried, ignoring you is extremely difficult. That damn REPLY WITH QUOTE kicks in. NEWS flash I realize your getting older but the ignore thing works two ways. Just add me and life will return to your world of RIMFIRE DOMINANCE without rebuttal on CGN. The offer still stands as Ive holidays remaining. PS my gun has much prettier wood. Want some pics? BUDDY

the farewell edition rifles are very nice. as I've seen a few. not sure I would take it out hunting.
