I have a Baush and Lomb 4x on my 452 varmint. May go to a little more magnification for next springs gophers. Likely a 3x9 of some type. Can`t say as i`m a big fan of the fs model but still a real nice rifle.

I have a 2-7 x 28 Leupold rimfire on mine. The 3-9 EFR is also very nice but kinda pricy. Nikon have a new rimfire 3-9 that I think retails less than $200, great value for the money. FS

What rings are you guys using with your scopes? I got a set of high Talleys that are still too low to mount most scopes with cause the rear sight is in the way. I could go with a smaller scope but cause my 452 is in 17hmr I wanted some good magnification for those long shots on gophers.

On my 452std I removed the rear sight and with std rimfire rings the 3-9x40 fit nicely in the groove. I've since put a 6-24 on it and it is long enought that it is in front of the rear sight base.

No iron sights on the varmint to get in the way. To bad that cz couldn`t standardize the reciever grooves on the 452 models.

They have standardized the receiver groves its called a 455.the 452 are built on different receivers .if you bought a 452 with intentions of putting a scope on it you should have gotten the american or varmint.

Folks put scopes on all of the CZ models, I don't know anyone that shoots with open sights anymore.
There is a place in the USA that has made a weaver base just for the 452 which is supposed to fit the Burris Z rings very well. FS

I actually had a great time just shooting it with iron sights, you get so used to scopes it's sometimes nice to get back to basics.

Do you have a link on a receiver sight?, I'm not sure what that is.

Beautiful rifle, just loose that goofy front sight hood, it's backwards or something....a nice peep sight, like the Necg which fits on a weaver base would be cool.

I shoot mine stock. No scope. Very accurate and very sweet looking. A scope only ruins the lines of this nice firearm.

It does seem like a shame to not use the sights on these rifles, they are a good setup. I did put a Leupold on one of mine though. The other is used with the irons.

I've got a 452FS. I shoot with iron sights, and love it that way. If you do go for a scope, get a Leupold.
