Hi there,

I'm wondering about people's experience with CZ 452 mags in .22lr. Are 10 rounders the biggest capacity available? How do the polymer ones compare to the metal? Who carries them, and who has the best pricing?

I've checked around, and I've been unable to find anything with a > 10 capacity, and I've been unable to find anyone with metal ones in stock.

Thanks so much,
Cal.

i have a poly 5 and 10rnd mag for my 22lr. i have 2 5rng steel mags for my 22wmr. the poly mags work great i find they feed a little smoother as well. i hav 1200+rnds on my 10 rnd and no issues. i found mine at WSS in langley but i think i got lucky. the 5rnd poly was 24.99$ . clay at prophet river is usialy good at getting the CZ stuff.

I have both the poly and metal magazines for my CZ 452s. I chased all over trying to get some more metal magazines that are durable enough to withstand teenage boys with no luck. I ended up ordering direct from CZ. Cost all in was $162 for 4 or $40.50 each. They haven't arrived yet so I've got my fingers crossed with customs etc. Link is:

PM rustysdream and see if he has any for sale....I got 3 10 round plastic mags from him recently for $99 shipped

I have some ten round steel mags, but I honestly haven't used them enough to give a fair report on their reliability.

They are the largest capacity CZ 452 magazines available.

I bought them because I like steel mags better than plastic ones.

One thing, a 40 gr. CCI Mini-Mag CPRN will not fit in the ones I have. The 36 gr. CCI Mini-Mag CPHP will though.

I just wish I'd known that before I bought a case of the 40 gr. Mini-Mags.:(

When I bought mine Wolverine had the best price on them. But you will want to shop around.

Bought mine from Reliable in Vancouver. (CGN sponsor) I bought 5-rounders because I hate mags hanging-out of the bottom of my rifle. If the 5-shot limit bothers you, by several. :)

I have both metal and poly as well as 5 and 10 round, don`t see much difference in quality. Metal mags are harder to come by now. I also got some from rustysdream, good guy to deal with if he has any left.
