Anyone shoot one of these and care to comment? I'm looking to get something accurate and want to be able to adjust the trigger.
 
excellent little rifle. Ive had one for a few years now and just ordered another on Friday for my son. Russells has got the best price I found at 419.00. Any CZ rifle is good quality/value for the buck.

I had a CZ 452 style (same synthetic stock but with nickel-finished metal).
Damn I miss that gun.

The stock is superb, one of the best fitting and feeling stocks on a 22LR that I have owned.

The gun itself was very accurate, a very smooth bolt, good mag system, easy to modify trigger (I just replaced the spring on mine and I was satisfied). I guess my only complaint was that depending on what rings you want to use, you might need to order some adaptors from Brooks out of the USofA.
 
A buddy of mine has a Anschutz 5418 and I can shoot that off hand really well. It feels so good. The CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar also feels very good to me. I haven't fondled the 452 Silhouette, but was hoping it would feel similar. My other choice would be to build up a 10/22 and go with an after market stock, and probably spend way more money for less accuracy.
 
The 452 is a great action. Either the style or the silhoutte will fill the bill. The trigger is a model 70 style that is easily worked on. After about 5000 rnds the action will smooth out. cz452.com has a trigger kit for $15US that works great. It will settle the adjustment and fix any creep. My american had some of that. If you put a 40mm scope with AO remember to buy high rings. The bolt handle comes up high and you need high rings to clear on both ends. I like the Lynx rings. Both have a 3/8 dovetail so you should have no problems finding rings------Cowboy
 
Either the 452 style or the silhouette would be a great choice. I have the style and it is my hunting .22lr. Its durable, light, nice looking, ect... Not a bad trigger from the factory either. A bit creepy but the brooks kit can fix that
