The cz usa site says that it is the same as the american but the eourpe site says it is the same as the siloette. I heard that the siloette has a design difference from the other 452's and I was told to steer clear.

The 452 amerincan has an mperial cut on the base and the other has the metric cut on the bases. You will run into trouble when putting the scope on it with the bolt handle clearance. Mine shoots like laser it is awesome. Only will feed certain rounds

Just another piece of ill informed advice. The stock design is the same as the Silhouette, synthetic with a cheek piece, actions are all the same. Great shooting rifle, just like all of the rest of them. FS

When I bought my Style from Reliable Gun in Vancouver in 2002, the salesman said the Style is exactly the same as the blued Silhouette except that the Style is finished in electroless Nickel.

Both have synthetic stocks.

The bolts on my Style and Varmint look the same and both models have two lugs. I remember their trigger assemblies look the same too.

I measured the scope mounting grooves without removing the scopes, so I couldn't really get a good feel of the caliper jaws on the groove, but the scope base on the Varmint feels a tad wider than the Style. Visually the grooves look the same.

The obvious differences between the Style and Varmint are the barrels and stocks, other than than they look the same.
