Just thought i would share this with you guys that have cz rifles. I installed my Yo Dave Trigger kit in my gun, and got it down to 5 oz safely. and there are other springs included with the kit if you want a heavier trigger pull. Also comes with pin shims for sear engagement. Well worth the money and super easy to do!

Yeah, its a great kit. I've used one kit for three rifles (mine and friends) and everyone is happy! The heavier springs are good for field rifles and are still lighter and cleaner than stock.

That's a beautiful stock on your rifle. Do you mind if I ask where you got it and what it cost?

Anything much below 1.5 lbs and mine would fail the bump test and that is without any shim on the sear. There's just so little sear engagement as it is. Be careful with it set that light.

Yeah, mine fails on the light springs too. I dont see how 5oz could be safe unless there is a ton of creep. I put the thickest (red) shim in mine the creep was so bad, and with the 2nd heaviest spring from the kit it now breaks very clean just under 2#. But when i tried the lighter springs, unless i left any of the shims out completely (and kept the excessive creep) it was unsafe with the two lightest springs.

hey Mike, try adjusting the spring adjuster all the way up with the lighter spring, sometimes it takes it over the edge of being unsafe to being safe, its like an extra quater coil but it gets the job done, Its worked for me a few times and I have lost track of how many pins I have punched and just how many times I have had to drive them in and out, and in and out, but hey can't argue with the price now can you???? gotta love that roll pin!!

Thanks Dave, I'll give that a try one of these days. I can't complain about the way it is now though I must be honest. I quite like it. BUT, I do like a nice trigger that's measured in ounces... Maybe I will do a bit of tinkerin' tomorrow.

And thanks putting these kits together! Innovative entrepreneurs like yourself are something our hobby needs more of.

i bought a yodave kit a while ago (didnt know you were on cgn!) im not sure what spring or shim i have in there, but with the insctructions that come with it, i got everything to work nicely, found a trigger pull im quite fond of.
