CZ 452 Varmint @WS Winnipeg

Finally got a call from Wholesale in Winnipeg regarding a special order 452 Varmint I am/was interested in. Was very suprised and pleased at the call that my order had arrived...took almost six months though!

Sad thing is that upon going down and checking out the rifle I found the wood stock to be somewhat banged up with several scratches as well. The stock just behind the bolt had several deep gouges right throug the finnish from poor handling when removing the bolt.

Very dissapointed as I would have walked out with this rifle if it was not in "demmo" shape. WS couldn't adjust the price either.

if you had put a deposit down, you have a right to be pretty pissed.

P&D in Edmonton still has a real good inventory of CZ rimfires in stock. You may want to give then a try. FS

Very surprised that winnipeg WSS wouldn't adjust the price. Was in there a year after they opened and a guy brought in a rifle that he had bought when they opened or it was just after they opened and the rifle was from when they were Farmers Supply(I don't remember the timeline) He'd bought it and not fired it. Out of the box it had a nick in the crown. The guy behind the counter, can't remember his name, asked him if he knew the smith north of the city(Jean) and to drop the gun off to him to re-crown and have the bill sent to them.
