Tossing around the idea of upgrading my savage mkII
I was wondering if there is a 2 stage trigger for the CZ as of now I can't find one.

Probably a crazy side question. Can a Anschutz 64 action go as high as a 3.5 lbs first to 1-1.5 lbs 2nd? Would it be just a matter of making Thicker replacement springs?

Bought the savage for a trainer and finding the stock too small.

My initial thoughts were to replicate my center fire as much as possible.
Would it be a better training aid to shoot a heavy creepy trigger on a .22lr so the CF rifle feels better than it is?
I was dreaming of saving for a 54 action but for my purpose seems counter initiative especially at 2.5x the cost of a 64

I bet I had 20 some enquiries last year as to the two stage trigger, no one has ever made one, and no new production CZ rifles come with them, the old model 1's did come with a 2 stage trigger of sorts, I have never understood the love for a two stage trigger, I like my finger on it and then bang when I want it, the first stage in my mind will always be nothing more then creep....lots of it and terrible feeling......

I also like a 2 stage trigger- good compromise of safety for me and I find I just automatically pull through the first stage without even thinking about it. However- I've done the yodave kit in my 455 and I would almost guarantee you can get yourself something you'd be happy with.
