CZ 455 FS - scope & rings?

I have searched and seen many recommendations regarding what rings and scopes people are using on their CZ's.

My question is directed at CZ 455 FS owners or people with experience with them. I do not want to remove my rear sight on my rifle, so given this.. what are my scope/ring height options?

Here's what I did.

CZ455 Varmint (20.5" heavy barrel) .17HMR
Bushnell Elite 4-16x40
Sun Optics Sporter rings (low)
Levi generic sling

Edit: my rifle did not have any iron sights.

How big a scope are you considering? A Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32 scope should be short enough that it will not extend over the iron sights. Longer scopes will require higher mounts, unless they are really long scopes, in which case the objective bell will be beyond the irons.

You don't have to remove the sight just the leaf and warn high 22 11mm dovetail will get the job done.

using UTG's med, i cannot mount my prostaff5 4.5-18x40mm rearward enough, the scope is 13.6 OAL and has a quite good eye relief. my bushnell 1.75-5x32 looks short enough (didnt mount it, but stacked my 452 over the FS) to fit over the sight and would be alright with mediums
 
I wanted to use the iron sights too, so I put on a compact scope with see-through base that I bought on eBay. (Scope: UTG Bug Buster CQB 3-9x32 AO)
The scope came with rings.

This is what I use on my CZ452FS in 22LR:
Leupold VX1 Rimfire, 2-7x28 with Burris Rimfire/Airgun Rings in medium (420069). The same scope/ring combination will work very well on your new CZ455FS without any need to remove the rear sight.

Those Leupold VX I scopes look like they are made for these rifles. Hey Kody are those Burris rings 11mm? I have a 455 Canadian that I need a good scope and rings for. TC

They fit the 11 mm dovetail well with Leupold Rimfire Scopes. I use this ring/scope combination on my 452 FS and on my 452 Scout (I lap my rings before i install the scope...). The scope can be mounted low to get a nice cheek weld and the bolt still clears the scope. No need to remove the rear sight. Any scope with a larger eye piece diameter would probably interfere with the bolt handle...
