Got a nice wee shooter but curious what the thread pattern is on the barrel for the compensator? Also says the trigger is adjustable but not sure how to do that as haven’t taken out of the stock yet. Thanks for any advice or direction for this,

I don't know about the thread size (probably 1/2 - 28 like its other rimfires not destined for south of the border), but the trigger is adjustable by turning the nut shown below. It has a shaped washer that you don't want to lose. A spring change will probably affect the pull weight more than the nut.

My 455 Synthetic’s threads are 1/2” x 20 tpi (or so I am led to believe)

Hope this helps. These CZ .22 rigs are great shooters.

Cheers, Barney

Threading varies on these. I've had rifles by CZ intended for the US market that are 1/2-28 and also some that are P-H threaded for the British/Euro market. We seem to get a variety in Canada due to access to multiple distributers. Best way to find out is measure it! Thread gauges aren't too hard to find if you know any machinists/plumbers/tool and die makers.

Great picture and pointing out the parts.
My 452 (new to me) varmint had the trigger so light it couldnt pass the bump test with the palm of my hand.
It was lighted to 8 oz by the previous owner, but is now at about 2-1/2 pounds and ready to go when this bomb cyclone blows over.
Great pic and a Big Thank You for sharing.

You will find the wrench underneath the trigger guard.
The YoDave trigger kit is superb. Various spring weights and collars to reduce the creep.
The triggers can then be adjusted down to one pound . . . some claim lower.

Next trick is to reshape the firing pin.

Count the threads... put a ruler beside the muzzle and count how many threads are in 1 inch. 20 or 28 and that is your answer.

Enjoy the rifle.

Adjustment is half-assed; get a YoDave trigger kit; inexpensive, and amazing results.

Anyone know where I can get spare magazines for this rifle? Also who sells the YoDave trigger kit? Thank you it’s been forever since I posted this original thread and am finally getting back into shooting my 22LR.

Tesro, Rangeview Sports, Calgary Shooting Centre among others have either 5 or 10 round polymer or metal mags.

Google CZ 455 magazine canada

PM yodave here or visit his website for the trigger spring kit.

Just to mention, I took the 'nut & washer' off my 455 and got the pull down to ca 1.5#. Removes all tension from spring . . . saved the parts so I can return it to OEM if i sell it.

It varies from rifle to rifle, but in many cases, the trigger creep is worse than the pull weight. The Yo Dave kit includes spacers to reduce the creep and the pull weight. I have adjusted 5 triggers using 3 Yo Dave kits.
