So im have a tough time deciding between a Lux or a American. I want a rifle that i can go back and forth between iron sights and a scope. I hear that once you scope a Lux you loose your cheek weld. I don't like the idea of putting a cheek riser on such a nice stock. so i thought what about getting an american stock to switch to when using glass? much easier than switching barrels. If i use a torque wrench POI shouldn't change much. Any body do this? or am i over thinking this? Any body scope their Lux? I have a vortex 2-7x32 that i plan on using. Id rather get both, but only one for now

Buy two guns, problem solved.

The actual difference in height at the point of cheek contact between the hog back and American stocks is very minimal, as hashed out on Rimfire Central. The big thing that comes into play is the height a large scope needs to be to clear the rear tangent sight, especially on the 452 versions. A small 2-7 or 3-9 scope will mount behind the sight, cheek weld will be the same for both American or Lux.

Many CZ shooters on RFC, a hotbed of CZ discussion, interchange barrels with sights with those that don't have any and there is no indication that they have problems. You could by a Lux and use it for iron sight shooting, and buy an American barrel for use with optics, or vice versa and buy an American.

Nevertheless, as metalbender says, there isn't much of an issue scoping the hogback style rifles (which the Lux, Standard, and Full Stock are). A great many shooters use these rifles scoped to take full advantage of their shooting potential, especially at distance.
