CZ 455 owners, can you help me with a Magazine question?!

So, I will be getting a new CZ 455 Varmint in a couple weeks and i want to get a few accessories ahead of time. Specifically magazines. I would like to buy the 10 round steel mags, but my local store only has them for the 452. I put a 452 mag in a 455 American at the store, and it seemed to fit just fine. Now I read the CZ website and it said that the 452 mags were not reccomended for the 455.

Has anyone had any experience with this sorta thing? I hope someone has had them work since I have not been able to find steel, or even poly 455 mags anywhere else.

If anyone also has any leads on the 455 mags it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, 452 mags will work fine in a 455. I have a slew of them and they have all run without issue.

To be clear, I'm referring to .22lr mags. I'm uncertain regarding .22hmr, or .17 mags.

I have no problem switching mags between a 452, 455 and a BRNO#1, 5 and 10 round both in plastic and steel.

The 452 and 455 mags in 22wmr and 17hmr are different...

With teh steel 452 22lr mags you may have to notch the front out other then that 22lr ones are interchangeable.

You can also order the mags direct from Czech at shop-cz.com. Again, no import issues (apparently)
