Man this thing is so beautiful. I don't know what it is about this rifle that stood out to me when I first saw it, but it's got such a unique design and feels awesome to hold.
I recently sold my GSG 16 because I felt the ergo wasn't right for me (I'm a big guy, 6'2" and about 250lb on a good day
) and the GSG just kinda felt like a toy, despite the fact that it was a sharp looking rifle.
This on the other hand feels a lot nicer. I love the finish and seeing that wood grain just makes me smile. The thumbhole is actually pretty comfy, as are the rest of the gun's ergos (cheekrest, butt pad, grip, ect).
I've heard a lot of folks saying that the trigger on the 455 was crap. But honestly, despite there being a very modest amount of take up it's VERY crisp. Now I'm not sure if that's because this is a new iteration of the same model and the trigger issues were on the previous iteration, but I'll make a video on the trigger at a later date to show it off, as I think it's WAY more than sufficient for a 22, and WAY better than on the GSG.
