Slightly cheaper than a 452, seems to retain all of the good points of the 452 but with interchangeable barrels!!! Could this be CZ's answer to the SAKO quad??? I'll wait for the Lux or FS version but I want one for sure!!!

The weight in the specs is listed at 2.4 lbs.

This must be an error, perhaps it should read 2.4kg

Heard from a guy at the vegas shotshow, CZ won't make a FS 455. There's a craze on 452 FS in stores right now.

Bad news C B, there isn't going to be a Lux or Full Stock version of the new 455. FS

Well perhaps there are no plans for a FS model but the description of the standard model here http://www.czub.cz/en/catalog/80-rimfire-rifles-cz.aspx certainly indicates that a 455 Lux is planned.

I read in an other thread that they on longer have a locking lug on the bolt.the rear sight looks like a williams.

The web site you linked to is the European site, if you go to the CZ US site they show you all the models that will be available for 2010.
Maybe 2011 will have more choices for the North American market. FS

You have got to think that the new sight vs the quality piece of the last years model must be a cost cutting measure?

the adjustable tangant sight was one of the main reasons I bought a 452.

Yep, it's just my opinion, but the rear sight is a step backward, the old sight was adjustable for elevation with your fingers and had distance in yards on it!
And on their site they explain the sight change to be: "new sight can be adjusted for elevation and drift". The old one was too and without tools Dummies!!!
