Cz 457 Chassis Updates

At Shot Show we announced our new Cz 457 Chassis and it got lots of attention. Much more than we expected. We figured it's time to give an update on the chassis and where we are at with the project.

We are currently manufacturing the first run of chassis. This is a limited quantity run, and it is taking us awhile to get everything perfected. We are intentionally taking our time to get our process dialed in.

We do not have an estimated completion date as of yet. CNC operations are about 30% done.

That pic illustrates to a T, an issue I had with the Boyd's AT-one stock, scope height vs cheekpiece, I expect a some folk will want an adj cheekpiece that is capable of being high enough to work properly with that setup. I'd have to change that buttstock out. I ended up with an MDT Field stock, no mods neccesary on the butt other than adding the LOP spacer kit. That's me though.

That's the nice thing about the buffer tube or Pic interface, you can choose from a huge range of aftermarket stocks. MDT certainly makes some very nice ones (but they'll try to sell you a chassis too).

I like the integral Arca rail!

An inline stock like this requires the high-mount scope, which may be territory you have to go into anyway with a huge objective lens, but it could be nice to have a stock with some drop to go with a lower-mount optic.

You can put any stock you want on the chassis. The chassis will not include a stock.

If you have a heavy profile barrel you will probably need higher rings anyway for objective lense clearance.

Our stock placement allows for beaver tail ar grips and also helps put the stock more in line with you scope so you need less of a cheek riser.

Trigger guard is a bit THICCC but I love it overall. Same style as your 10/22, right?
