Got me a brand new royal, and overall im pretty happy with it.
However there are some things worth noting.
First off, the striker has little chips in it ONLY where the face that does the striking is. Which is odd, but it does work. Put a few boxes through it, no problems. Ill probably leave it like that for a while until i see parts being sold out here.
Secondly, the face of the bolt has what looks to be file marks straight across the face. Again, doesnt hinder the operation but it could definetly look nicer.
Third, i was surprised to find that the 25 round mag (that works flawlessly in the 452) does not feed into the chamber. At all. Not the biggest deal, and i havent taken the time to figure out why yet.
Those are the legitimate problems i have found. But still very happy with it, because damn the royal is just sweet.
I have so far located 2 plastic parts.. which i may remake out of steel because why not. They are the magwell (which the 452 also has, and yes they can break if using extended mags and it gets bumped. Ill attest to that) the other, is the cocking indicator, which doesnt seem to stick out far enough to break, even if bumped.
Overall, nice rifle. Im curious to what other people who actually have them have to say about theirs.
Oh and accuracy wise, i cant say anything concrete, as i am not a stellar shot. Basically i shoot it about as well as a 452
