Cz 457 lux and scope?

Sorry for the late response, not sure how much help I can be, because my setup is different.
I have a couple 457 rifles, including a beautiful Lux. I chose to keep it open sights, but initially I did have a 3-9 with a 40mm objective on her, using Leupold 11mm high rings. I did have to remove the rear sight (very easy to do) to have enough clearance. Any higher I went would be too high to get a good view. Because you have a smaller objective you may be able to use medium.
Any decent gun shop, including Cabelas, would set up the right size rings for you if you bring the rifle in. I recognize it is a PITA but saves some running around.
I eventually chose to go scopeless on my Lux, shooting open sights is a bit of a dying art these days with my kids. Everyone wants to shoot with scopes, but we have loved shooting that rifle with their very accurate open sights. Reminds me of my k98 somewhat.

I was using Burris high rimfire rings on my 452 and 455 lux rifles with a similar proportioned optic and I didn't need to remove the rear sight on either.

Actually a 40mm objective so I expect you won't have issues. I liked using an optic for ammo testing before switching back to the irons which I find much more fun to use.

Me 455 Ultra Match wears a Nikko Sterling 4x32 in medium Weaver rings. Fookin' dandy fer grey squirrels & rabbits.
Me 452 Scout be fitted with a Nikon 1.5-4.5x Monarch in aftermarket, high rings.. Very accurate bugger she be. Super little rifle to pack around.
Me latest 452 Lux with Bushnell 2-7x32 Elite in Warne high rings is a beauty shooter as well.

BKL 257 Medium mounts on CZ452 Lux. 42mm objective lens clears the rear sight by a hair (index card will slide in, but nothing thicker.
Maybe check the scope axis height on the BKL 257 Med height and compare to Warne medium and high rings. Maybe Warne medium will be ok with your 33mm objective?
