I was in a gun shop in central Alberta today, and spoke with a young fellow who was buying a 457 Premium in 17hmr. It was truly a gorgeous rifle. I had to stand back a bit so I wouldn’t get drool all over it. I scooped a nice old No. 1 Mk3 that had been brought back from the dead at sometime earlier. It started out as a Mk3, with a magazine cut-off, was probably put through a refurb, stamped with a *, then had the star canceled with three horizontal lines.
