Cz 457 Synthetic Stocks...are they all the same?

I picked up a CZ 457 MTR barrel and MTR walnut stock, but its missing the action (he upgraded to a chassis). From what I have read, all the 457 actions are the same (from the cheapest rifle to the most expensive, except for the match chambers). Couple of questions:
  1. please confirm I could buy the cheapest 457 ($550) and use that action/trigger with my MTR barrel and MTR walnut stock?
  2. I like the idea of having a synthetic stock as well; are all the cz 457 synthetic stocks the same? Will my MTR barrel fit on the cheaper 457 synthetic, or do I need to get the 457 varmint synthetic?

Yes you can buy the cheapest cz 457 synthetic stock rifle and put the cz mtr barrel on it and also have that mtr barrel in the synthetic stock. I did the same thing. I bought the cz 457 synthetic with the skinny barrel and I found a cz mtr barrel and it fits nicely. The 457 actions are all the same. You can even use a cz 455 barrel on the cz 457 action.
 
One thing to consider... every 457 Synthetic stock I have seen has been warped on the front end. Some worse than others. I'm a huge CZ 457 (and 452) advocate, but the two I have are slightly warped, as were all the examples I've seen in stores.

I do like the synthetic and I still absolutely recommend it for the price, but they're just cheapo stocks so temper your expectations.
