CZ 512 carbine Iron Sight removal Help

Hello.

I have a cz 512 carbine and i scoped it so I would like to remove the iron sights for cleaner look.

I can't figure it out on my own and could not find a video.

Front has finer optic bar under the hood

rear is 25-200 tangent sight.

Any suggestions or step by step would be appreciated.

According to the schematic on page 14 of the manual located here - https://www.czub.cz/media/attachment/file/7/3/735342000171_-_cz_512_en_11-2016_.pdf

It looks like there's two screws mounting the rear sight to the barrel and one holding the front.

I saw that and the sights on this gun are not the same.

I just may not have the right tools.

Rear aight is the most tricky.

The distance platform blocks the screws.

I will do images tonight.

The cz512 carbine seems to have a rear sight like the cz455 luxII with a tangent rear sight, so if some one knows how to remove the tangent rear sight from cz455 lux II you will be good to go.

Checked over at rimfire central, looks like CZ puts some adhesive under both the front and rear sights that must be heated with a hot hair dryer and then a sharp tap with a plastic mallet to get them off. (after you remove the screws)

If you have the older style tangent sight that looks like the one on the picture (mine is 452 FS), you can simply remove it by moving the slide to the 25 yd mark, than pressing hard with your thumb on the 200 mark and slide the sight towards the rear. No tools required.

that did the trick for the rear cheers.

now i need special tool for front.
