CZ 512 variants, 8004 vs 8002?

I'm shopping for a 512 in 22LR, and I see two different variants.

This is the 8004 version, which appears to have a straighter stock.

This is the 8002 version, which appears to have a more angled stock.

Is there any other differences between these two models or just the stock? Any stock you'd steer me towards? I really know nothing about rifle stocks, and would appreciate some guidance.

The straighter stock should be easier to use with a scope while the the lower rifle with the angled stock looks to be set up for using the “irons”

The 8002 version has not been in production for quite a while. When you see its photo on a retailer's site the reality is they are selling the 8004 one. Verify before buying.

With a straight stock, it may not be entirely comfortable to use irons especially if you are on the taller/bigger side. You would need to scope it with medium to high rings.

I use my straight stocked version with irons, never had a scope on it, works great, just need to get use to it

Mines arent usable, cant crunch my face low enough..

Mine are stock, just had to move my head back a bit and adjust, few times and it was fine
