I picked this up yesterday, my first intial impression of this rifle is I like the feel and heft to it. It is comfortable to shoulder and hold. They've done a very nice job with the craftsmanship. It is suppose to rain here the next few days so I'm not sure when I will get to shoot it, I have a nice little Weaver 4x shotgun scope that I will mount on it as soon as I can locate some good rings. I will take some more pic's and post them soon.

Hi Ross!

You did a pretty purchase here.
If one day I need a semi auto in 22lr, I do think I will go for this one too.
I read the following review and was quite impressed, on top of it, the guy who wrote it is a 10/22 lover...so.... it makes it more credible in my opinion.

The lower receiver and trigger guard/assembly, mag well and charging handle are polymer on this rifle.

Yuck! Too much plastic and it looks like it was designed by Benelli. Not my thing. The top rifle in the second pic sure looks nice though.

Nice rifle .Being a CZ Iam sure the craftsmanship is top notch but for me I will take the Brno 581 .I have 2 452s and love them both .the 512 has just got to much of the rifle built out of polymer for me.I know the ruger trigger guard test shows polymer is tough but its not metal .anyways I hope its a shooter be careful and most importantly have fun
