CZ 527 in 7.62x39

Yep I've had one for about 4 years. It has a .310 bore diameter but you can shoot .308's in it. I've just loaded up some 303 (.311) 125 gr bullets and got a .6" group. It's a nice handy light fun rifle to shoot.

I have one and shot only factory Lapua ammo in it, FMJ ball, it puts them into 3/4 inch regularly, it is small light and very handy, I will be handloading for it in the future and hopefully deer hunt with it.

The Sierra .311 125 SP over 25.5 grains of Reloader 7 in a Lapua case with Federal LRP makes for very small groups. Shot a 4 shot group (only had 4 rounds left!) that was 0.496" center to center at 100 yards. Also had some decent results with 150 grain Hornady SST in .3105, 5 shots with 19.7 grains of Reloader 7 shoots 0.790 center to center at 100 yards. I think I will tweak this load up and down a bit and see what she can do with the heavier bullets. Just started experimenting with the SST bullets in .3105, look to be promising so far. Also have some 308 Sierra 150 grain Matchkings that I would like to experiment with...

I held one of these rifles yesterday and was surprised how small and light it was. The open sights were the best I have ever seen. Can't wait to see how it shoots with surplus commy ammo.
