Does anyone have any feedback on the CZ 527 Kevlar? How would it compare to a Savage varmint or LE rifle?

I have the 527 Varmint Laminate, awesome rifle, but bought as soon as they came out as I was told Canada would never see the kevlar stock. The rifle is way more accurate than me, an the mini mauser action is very nice to shoot. Single set trigger is nice at the range or shooting gophers from a bipod. Was glad to find the trigger smoothened out alot with use. I may buy the kevlar stock from CZ, as it has a bit longer LOP and looks great. Everyone who has shot the gun loves it.

I have on of these on order from my local dealer right now. Although I have not owned one yet, I have a buddy that swears by the one he has and after trying it I knew I had to have one. From what I have read, the trigger is not perfect, but it is not the worst out there. For me it was between the CZ kevlar or a Savage, and the CZ won me over simply do to the detachable mag. I should have mine in the next couple of weeks and will most likely post about wether I have good luck with it or not.

Try and order a spare mag at the dealer at the same time as they arent cheap and you may get a deal!
I have one in wood in 7.62x39 and its great fun!

I had the kevlar stock on a CZ527 .223 Rem. It is a good stock from HS Precision. I am not crazy about palm swells but they are well made and rigid. It is better to go with the HS stock then the laminate as it is both lighter and more rigid.
