I like the looks of both these models so it boils down to what one would be more accurate. The barrel on the Lux is longer but not by much. I intend to put a scope on it regardless. Thoughts?

I dont think either one would have an advantage in accuracy, that would boil down to the particular rifle and ammo.

527 American

I have a 527 American that has been cut and recrowned to 18 1/2 inches and its a sweet shooting rifle at 100 meters. My previous Hornet was a browning A bolt with a custom trigger job and my new used CZ has nicer wood and is way more accurate, plus the CZ mag isn't nearly the PITA that the browning is.FS

I think Ive found "the load" for my 221 CZ. 19 grains RL7 & 40 gr Nosler BT, its doing around 3/4" 5 shot groups @ 100 and around 2" @ 200 in a moderate wind.

I've been using LilGun and the 40 gr VMax...I might have to try your load....

the Fireball also feeds better than the Hornet in this rifle model

Lilgun makes great velocity in my gun and accuracy with the 50 grain TnT is pretty good (1.25" 5 shot) but it burns real dirty, RL7 is much cleaner burning.
