CZ 527 Trigger

I just acquired a Cz 527 and am shockingly disappointed in the trigger unfortunately, it has some side to side play and also the take up has a bit of moosh and grit to it. has anyone else experienced this before? the rifle is a newer model originally purchased about a year ago.

I've always heard great things about the triggers so i'm not sure if i just got a lemon or if my expectations were too high. Has anyone used the timney or rifle basix trigger upgrades or even done a little bit of tuning to take out the play?

Trigger is fully adjustable, usually a single set trigger.
Google the trigger adjustment instructions.
Should be able to get it as light and tight as you’d like.
