CZ 550 in 7x57 available?

Hi all

I looked at CZ-usa and see they chamber a 6,5 swede but do not list the 7x57.
I would give both my front teeth for one and am wondering if anyone knows if a guy would have to order one from the factory or do they just not chamber this round anymore?
 
I saw a full stocked one second hand over here last year, nearly bought it but saved up for a .275 Rigby instead. Used it was about £400. The CZ not the Rigby!
 
Thats about what they would go for here too. Getting harder to find and I can not believe that CZ dont chamber them anymore.
Bloody sad state of affairs when no one chambers 7x57 anymore
 
Older BRNO's around still.I have a model 21 with the butterknife bolt handle and double set triggers.Very surgical.............................Harold
 
Sorry, Ruger dropped the 7x57 chambering about 4 or 5 years ago. An email to them last year asking if they had any plans of reviving it in the Hawkeye, they replied that they had no intention. It's still listed in the No. 1 chamberings, but good luck finding one.

I totally agree that a CZ 550 in 7x57 would be great, don't know why they dropped the caliber.
 
:(... Thanks dragoon7214 ! Too bad really, as it is a very versatile caliber, and one that I've wanted a rifle in ever since I first heard of "Kilimanjaro" Bell and his African exploits/hunting. .... David K...:(
 
Actually, it's "Karamojo" Bell. Yes, 7x57 is cool and it would be nice to see more rifles so chambered.
