Cz 557 mag adapter?

Hey I got my dad a cz 557 in 308 came with a floor plate. Was expecting a magazine, is there an adapter a guy can get to switch that out? Thanks

Thats odd. AFAIK the 6.5x55 and a couple others have a hinged floor plate but the 308 should be a magazine.

What model 557 ?

Depends on the model. The 6.5CM, 308 and 243 came in both long action box mag with floorplate and short action detachable magazine configurations. I believe the short action floorplate models are exceedingly rare. It is likely a long action floorplate model, and while there were some long action DM models they too are exceedingly rare, and likely only available in Europe.
