Ok, so I did use the search and did not find much information...

What I did find was all positive, but would like to see if we can have a bit of a discussion on the topic.

I have purchased a CZ 75B 9mm, I have a line on the Kadet Adapter Kit.

Does the kit work well?

Is it reliable?

What is change over time like?

Is it worth the hassle, or would it be better to purchase a dedicated .22LR pistol?

I know I don't have to ask this, but please feel free to add any other pearls of wisdom you may have on the Kadet Adapter Kit!

Thanks!

Have one that I use on my Shadow and my son uses on his SP01 Tactical. We haven't tried it on the 75B .40S&W yet (not enough range time lately.)

Love it.

Change over time is less than 30 seconds, observing good safe handling procedures (even if you are old like me).

There are some good discussions on last round lock open issues - I went with the file-the-slide-lock rather than the bend-the-spring option.

As accurate as my Browning Buckmark - as you can tell I have a dedicated 22lr semi. Great for range guests while I use the Kadet.

I put a fibre optic front sight on it - older eyes and it matches the Shadow sight.

No reliability problems at all, and my son and I both get to put in lots of cheap practice with our 9mm handguns, learn the triggers and unlearn the flinches.

Extra mags are a PITA to find lately...
