Just scored this sweet Cz 75 P09
Now my Cz 75 P07's big brother can keep him company in the safe....I noticed Cz upped there game on the finish of the P09, and gave it luminous sights, not tritium, but definitely a step up from the P07 standard sights.

Scored both my Cz's at ......

They have really got a great selection, and gave me some good prices, once again well done guys for hooking me up......

Was looking at these a couple weeks ago, looking for something for my daughter to eventually shoot IPSC with and found the 09 seems to have a bit smaller grip and shorter reach and almost a perfect fit for her smaller hands. Even for me I found in DA my trigger rested nicely on the 09 but was a bit of a stretch on the 07. Does anyone know know if there are any springs available yet or if they use the same springs as other models, also im assuming even tho the 09 is a full size it uses it own mags and not the same as the regular 75's.

hey xldbldbl, I plan on getting the P-09 for myself, but if your daughter has smaller hands, you may wish to look at the Sig P250 or P320 as they have have three frame sizes (small, med & large) and three grip sizes (small, med, large) and probably would allow for a more customized and better fit for her.

not that I'm trying to disuade you from getting a CZ, but I've been looking hard at the P-07, P-09 and the P250 and P320. :)

another option, just off the top of my head, could be the Browning 1911-380. though I'm not sure that's IPSC authorized. my fav gun is my 1911-22. :)

Would really prefer a DA/SA over striker fired. Single action 1911's have their own classic division and 9mm is min caliber in all divisions of IPSC.

I will admit the Cz 75 is also a totally awesome classic firearm, when even the 1911 God "JEFF COOPER" himself praises the CZ 75 , u know u got a winner. Besides next to the 1911 , the most copyed design is the Cz75.......

The 09's and 07's use the omaga trigger system which is a simpler system than the Cz75's more complicated trigger system...I believe the lock up is different as the 75 uses locking lugs like the 1911, where the P09,07 is a tilting barrel lockup system...
I also own a Sphynix SDP , which is a hybrid of the P07 and the cz75, it has polymer mag and trigger housing , mated to a all aluminium lower, with the Cz75 trigger system, than the slide is all steel, it also takes Cz75 mags, it's such a nice rig, it's really my total favorite, made in Switzerland....they are very pricy, but so nice..they are a Mercedes as opposed to a VW....lol
