Cajun gun works in the US sells great stuff but I e-mailed them and alas, no Canadian shipping.
So now I am wondering who makes drop-in parts, or perhaps does work, on CZ 75 DA/SA systems to make the SA pull light and smooth?
I'm thinking CRFAM would, but their website is a bit non-working right now and I don't know what I'm looking for yet so i'd like some suggestions what to get before calling them.
:)
Thanks

CZ Custom does mail parts to Canada and has the springs you need. Other than that it's a trip to a gunsmith to do the work described at;

And something not shown in either that I found on my own is to stone and polish the V grooves found on the bottom edges of the trigger bow.

And sadly the spots shown and suggested to be "sanded" are a poor choice of terminology. Those spots should be stoned with a very fine grit polishing and finishing stone that leaves a nice mirror like surface that will not round over the edges. You can't get that sort of result with any sort of sandpaper. So use a stone and a stoning guide to do the sear and trigger hooks so that angles and surfaces are kept flat and shaped at the desired angles. Messing those up can produce a gun which is unsafe.

I actually just finished swapping the springs in my Norinco NZ85 for CZ 75 springs. I followed the steps for a CZ trigger job that I found on the web and the results are great! Much much better DA trigger pull and a nice SA pull as well.

13lb mainspring is where it's at if you haven't already done it. Mine is pre-B so I don't have the firing pin block, I hear getting rid of that helps. CZ Custom will ship you what you need.

No Canadian Shippping? ODD. This is what I got from my inquiry:

As long as the order is under $100.00 there is no problem. If you anticipate an order exceeding $100.00, please place 2 orders. We have to comply with U.S. Customs. I have reduced the shipping costs by 1/2 to help compensate for this. I have been shipping orders on a regular basis to Canada.

CGW,
David

I have a CZ 85C which is almost identical to a CZ 75. I changed the mainspring and recoil spring. Double Action pull is much better now, SA still has the gritty camming action. I might have to do the CGW Hammer Kit 2 next year.

As of today, Cajun Gun Works says they cannot ship to Canada, as the US Directorate of Defense will not permit them to do so.
