CZ 75 Pre-B Magazine compatibility

I have a CZ 75 Pre-B and was wondering if CZ 75B mags will work in it. I've read somewhere that they won't. Is this true? Also, anyone know where to get CZ parts in Canada? Thanks

Almost but not quite. Mag well needs to be opened slightly.

Funny I just read a post on here saying that they do, however it would seem that they do not with older Pre-B's.

I use them in my pre b with no issue. They don't fall freely though.

From what I understand what stops them from falling freely is the mag brake in the grip of the gun.

I understood that the difference between the "Pre-B" and "B" guns was the firing pin safety and shape of the trigger guard, was there another change? The mag brake was the first thing to go in my CZ85.

Ive heard older Pre-B's had s different shape magwell but only slightly that dont let newer mags seat fully
