I am having a terrible time finding parts for my CZ 75 pre-B. Specifically, I need a safety detent. This is a flat piece of metal with a very small hole in it that sits just behind the safety (with a very small spring).

Is there anyone out there that could take measurements of this part and and make a diagram for me? I think my only option is to make the part myself.

Thanks for you any help anyone can provide.

I made one, for a 941 Jericho, just a flat iron, v on the front end, but It is a pita getting it together , as there is no hole to hold it as on some CZ,
My hands are giving me a lot of problems right now, so I am not going to take it apart again, and it may be a bit different, I know the barrels are a bit different in width.
I think on mine the flat bit fit in a small recess in the frame and the little spring pushed it ahead to keep the safety on proper place, the front was a bit rounded off to fit in the notches of the lever. I think I found a bic light spring fit, when cut to length, but I have saved springs for 60 yrs.
P.S. you know when taking the safety lever out, you have to lift off the sear spring, or it will break other wise.

Yeah, the spring broke, possibly from the previous owner, and the safety slid out and the detent fell out.

All I need is basic specifications or a picture (with a scale or ruler in it) and I'm sure I could make one.

I got sear & trigger springs from Freedom Venture, they did not have the flat iron, but you could check with them, the sear, and trigger springs I used in my 941 where CZ 75 springs , if my old mind remembers right.
P.S. I should have said Tanfoglio springs, which is what they sell, don't see any safety bits .
