I just ordered my first pistol, a CZ 75 Shadow.

I'm planning on ordering 1000 rnds of 9mm ammunition from The Ammo Source (SFRC), but there are a lot of options in brands and grain weights and I'd like to know what some popular choices are for this particular pistol.

I'm looking for something well priced that is consistent in the CZ 75 Shadow.

TIA.

I've shot a lot of Wolf Ammo purchased from SFRC through my shadow. Pretty much devours everything. From the 135gr lead to the 124gr TMJ. I like the 124gr TMJ when they have it. A bit easier to clean afterwards, I also find it to shoot better in my shadow and the price difference is close.

I shot Seller and Bellot 124gr FMJ in my cz75b and it worked fine.

Now, I reload my own from that brass. 124gr Hornady JHP. I find the HP much more accurate.

CZ says while the Shadow will fire 115 and 147gr bullets quite well, it was designed to shoot the 124gr bullet best.

I use AE 124gr lead free primer ammo. Great stuff and very clean. Stay away from the White box Winchester other than for practice, if you ever get a FTE or FTF in the Shadow i'd blame that. Wolf stuff has always been good to me in the past but I never used it with my Shadow.

the cheapest will prob shoot just as well, your shadow is not a bullseye gun. i load for mine drg135 lead , berry's 147 plated, both give good results within the cap of the gun. red line 147 & rainer 147 also did well. 10 shot group of 6cm @ 25 yds with a ransom.

I found mine tended to hit a touch high with IPSC 130PF loads when using 147gn bullets. But factory 147's should be fine.

In the end I finally decided to just settle with 124gn ammo for my all of my 9mm guns. It shoots well in all of them and hits at the Point Of Aim (POA) with them all.

Brand? Anything does just fine.
