CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Disassembly

A round toothpick works excellently as a slave pin for the trigger - cut one end square, insert to flush, then cut the other end flush and away you go.

Fortunately I had no safety springs pop out when I did mine.

Detail stripping the gun loses some of it's sphincter clenching effects once you've had to do it a few times. Honestly the worst bit for me was reinstalling that bloody mag brake properly.

I shamefully admit that I have the dirtiest Shadow in existence.

I clean the top end but am petrified of disassembling the bottom end. I have seen the youtube video before regarding disassembley but I have not screwed up enough courage to attempt it.

Maybe one day.

Just get one of those aerosol gun blaster type products and hose it out. I'd not detail strip the frame to clean mine either. I only did it to convert it to single action only

um, with a Shadow, you just push the top pin out, no depressing needed, the top of the brake will pop out and you just slide the brake out. I've never needed to depress the plug at all.
