CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Holsters?

X2 for Josko @ Double Tap Sports. I have the Blade Tech for my SP-01 and it is great. Plus Josko gives excellent and speedy service.

I bought a BladeTech DOH for my SP-01 direct from Blade Tech in their "Competition Pack" which comes with the mag pouches as well. Great deal for getting set up.

Fobus is junky, you risk getting a holster you can't even get the gun out of. Uncle Mike's kydex is a step up from Fobus.

Stick with Blade Tech, more expensive to buy, but will work much better and it is made for the specific gun.

Safety question

BladeTech it will be!!

Question - The CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow has the firing pin safety removed. Does this mean that you cannot safely carry it with a round in the chamber and the hammer down? If you want a round in the chamber you must have the hammer cocked and the manual safety on?

Thanks, Jay

No the SP-01 Shadow firing pin is a inertial firing pin and the gun can be safely carried with a round in the chamber and the hammer lowered.

It is not a case of the Shadow having the Firing Pin Block removed. The Shadow frame and slide has not been cut for the Firing Pin Block.

Take Care

Bob

Forbus=Crap, I am serious, anything but Forbus!

I needed a holster fast for my CZ SP-01 and only had Fobus as an option, so i took it. So far, it works ok, but I am not competing nor very experienced with holsters. So probably not very critical either.

All the same, it does unholster smoothly. Retention is not strong though, so if you plan to jump around too much (with a holstered firearm??) go for something else.
