Looking for some feedback on the performance of the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Line and Tanfoglio Stock III. Also does anyone know if the trigger on the Tanfoglio Stock III is as good as the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Line?

Ive had them all in the multiples, from the factory the cz has a better trigger, but depending on your budget the stock 3 can be made to be equal if not better.

My current stock 3 with some lovin and all the e.g. xtreme parts in her my trigger is pretty sweet.

take a look at the tanfoglio xtreme line from freedom ventures and you'll fall in love :)

I am leaning towards the Tanfoglio Stock 3 as well. Did you get the trigger job done yourself?

The shadow is a great gun...I have owned several handguns, and my shadow when stock, is the best gun for competition shooting in IPSC productioj class. Usually 1/2 the winners or top 3 competitors that are in production class are using shadows. I did a few things to mine to still make it legal in production, and it is a real good shooter, and always goes bang. I have shot thousands of rounds thru my shadow without ever a single malfunction. If you buy a shadow, you know your getting a good gun. I would say that you will have a hard time finding a shadow owner with bad things to say.

Tried both pistols, I would say they are on same level. I like the Stock 3 finish, but the overall design leans towards the CZ Shadow. I am still looking forward to owning one very soon. This is like comparing a Ruger Mk III against Browning Buckmark. Both are solid platforms, reliable and needs a little work to shoot better.

Oooooopss... I am referring to a CZ75 SP01 Shadow , not the elusive SP01 Shadowline.
