Hi Guys

I have looked at allot of reviews on the tactical sport in 40S&W and want to purchase it now. I have checked out the CZ75B and love the feel of the gun(handling, quick point).
I have not handled the tactical sport because I can't find one to hold anywhere in WPG. Does anyone have any opinions on this gun as far as being a mistake ordering this gun site unseen. I have never seen any bad reviews on it. I know the grip is larger than the 75B and a little longer and heavier. I know it is geared for IPSC shooting. I havent been in the handgun shooting in years but I am going to get into it again. I don't plan on buying a pile of guns. I will also be buying a Ruger MKIII stainless. Any comments on the CZ tactical sport would be appreciated.

Thanks

I handled one at a store in Calgary - I have medium/large hands and it fit me quite well. It is the gun I plan to buy if/when I move to IPSC standard division.

I also have the ruger you are interested in and it is great pistol - excellent choice!

I have one in .40. The grip is big, front to rear compared to the 75 series of pistols, but with the thin aluminum grips installed it becomes very manageable. The weight of the gun helps tame recoil, and it cycles very quick and crisp even with the factory recoil spring installed. I am shooting 180 gr cast and plated with very good results in accuracy. Mine has the shimmed grip panels that allow use of the small frame 75 mags as well. Overall, I really like the gun, some things I might change is I might do a grip reduction by removing the checkering and maybe have the slide lightened and maybe shorten the frame. I'm a big dude and recoil management isn't an issue so I might benefit from a lighter gun. Overall, it's a great gun.

Hey Guys
Thanks for the info, I think I'll pick up the ruger first and go to the range and try to find someone that has one before dropping the cash.
I have never seen anything bad about this gun, except guys that don't have one and say their gun is better. I guess its all personal preference.
