Hi.

Could you tell me what is the best hammer spring weight to reduce the trigger pull weight. If i do that, am i obligated to change the firing spring & the recoil spring for a heavier than the factory.

11 lbs recoil spring, 13 lbs hammer spring work for most applications

Google " cz tuning with professor atlas "

If you reduce the hammer spring weight, increasing the firing pin spring weight would exacerbate the problem of light strikes (if it's a problem at all).

Lol it is if you don't seat your primers all the way to the bottom of the pocket.

...Ask me how I know

In our Shadow 1 and 2 the 13 lb main/hammer spring was fine on its own. Zero light strikes. Subsequently installed Cajuns 11.5 lb main/hammer springs in both my Shadow 2’s along with a reduced power firing pin spring for insurance. I’ve held off on the extended firing pin installation as no light strikes.

As far as the recoil spring goes it’s not related to the main/hammer spring weight. It’s related to ammunition. I followed Cajuns guide and tuned the recoil spring to case ejection distance. In my case a 12 lb recoil spring gave me the recommended 6’ to 8’ ejection distance.
