Hey there

I just picked up a used CZ 75B in near new condition.
Does anyone have any experience with the .22 conversion kit? I want to have a .22 pistol my kids can shoot, and I can practice with as well. I think the conversions cost around 350.00. would it be better to just buy a separate .22 Pistol?

Thanks

I have the CZ .22 conversion kit called Kadet and it's great, easy to swap, to take apart to clean and accurate. I got mine a little while ago for $370 but it's very hard to find this price anymore. I saw it jump to $450-550 range.
You should consider Ruger 22/45 and Browning Buckmark. Ruger 22/45 has same grip angle as 1911s do and virtually the same as CZ75.

Just in case you don't know - don't dryfire rimfire guns.

I went through this same thing a few years ago, I bought a Ruger 22/45 and I was not impressed. I sold it and spent the money on the Kadet, this kit is great and no problems at all, it is outstanding compared to the 22/45. My only complaint is the kadet is slightly larger than the standard CZ75 and I have to loosen the screws off on my bladetech holster when I practice with the kadet kit.

I have had a Kadet kit for several years. It only takes a few seconds to change the slide and magazines from 9mm to .22. I like mine so much that it now sesides, almost constantly on one of my 75s.
