Has anyone with a CZ 75B SA found the trigger action to be not up to snuff? I was surprised at the 'trigger caming' and pull weight when I got mine and plan to have a trigger job done using a Ghost replacement trigger and hammer. Any other suggestions, comment, would be very welcome.
I examined a new CZ-75 at a store recently and was sprized by how heavy and gritty the trigger pull was. I'm sure this can fixed by a competent gunsmith though. The camming of the tirgger, however, is not going anywhere - it's part of the design.
Last month I looked at a new CZ85. Yes the trigger was a little gritty and it could have been a little lighter. Still it would be quite acceptable for combat shooting sports.
I've got an early CZ75. No grit, no creep, almost as good as a decent revolver. But it was worked over by a competent gunsmith.
I can't comment on the S/A CZs but the triggers on the D/A CZs improve with use. This is an incentive to go to the range. Why? The more you shoot the CZs the better they get. My CZ 2075 Rami had a terrible trigger, by dry firing and shooting it the D/A mode is now quite good. Regards, Richard
