CZ-75B vs CZ-75B Omega

i have the omega and love it,about 4k rounds though it this year, love the SA pull. buddy of mine shoots a B model and he couldnt believe the difference in SA pull

P07

I have one of these and quite like it. It had some rounds through it from the previous owner and a few hundred from me and some friends. All seemed to like the gun's size, accuracy and operation

Search the net. I remember reading some pretty negative reviews of the Omega trigger.

I am also interested in these answers and even have a question of my own, if I may...

How can there be talking about a problem with the Omega trigger but nothing about the Shadow trigger? If I understand CZ's website, they are supposed to have the same trigger, haven't they? It is supposed to be the same new trigger design as on the CZ P01 Nato approved model, isn't it? Or maybe I misread..

I have the 75b and I have to say the S/A trigger pull in her is smoooooth as is. Can't imagine it getting much better. I will eventually take the advice of a wise CZ guru (you know who you are!!) and smooth off some rough edges when the wife leaves her emery board laying around!

Omega is CZ's new trigger system, it's used in P07 and 75B with Omega stamp on the slide.
P-01/06, SP-01 and Shadow (and many other) models come with conventional trigger system.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking about saving myself a little money by going with the Omega, but I think I'll just swallow the pill and go with the Shadow instead. I really like the way that model fits in my hands and I'll be more reassured by having the old trigger in it. I didn't like everything I've now read about the trigger bar spring falling off the Omega. :(

I have a CZ75B Omega ( going up for sale soon :) ) and it has worked flawlessly. I put a 15lb mainspring in it and I have used all kinds of ammo from expensive Winchester to handloads and I have never had a miss fire, failure to feed or any problem whatsoever.
Mine has been absolutely great gun and I would recommend one in a heart beat, especailly for a beginner. I am going to buy a CZ shawdow this year and give IPSC a try.
